When subscribing to a paid plan from the Free plan, a new subscription cycle begins. Usage measured per period is reset, and the storage and feature usage limits of the newly subscribed plan apply.
When upgrading from one paid plan to another, the existing renewal date remains unchanged, so usage measured per period is not reset. However, the storage and feature usage limits are immediately updated based on the upgraded plan.
